Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, & Dave Basile

Top 10 best advice tips from Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, and Dave Basile

It’s been quite a week so I thought I’d lighten up a bit and just share a couple top 10ish lists of best advice by a few people I have been inspired by, as well as my list (as it stands today). As an aside, I figured if I wanted to be in an article referencing Musk and Jobs I'd probably need to write the first one. Anyway, it’s probably fair to assume that Musk and Jobs were speaking from their position as founders and CEO’s to those that aspire to be the same. My list is a little broader in that while it does apply to those that aspire to be corporate founders and CEO’s, it also applies to those individuals who could be more focused on leading or working with a family, church, volunteer group, sports team, or just themselves.

Ok, so I snuck a few more onto my list. I’ve always liked 12 better than 10 anyway. Truth be told, I had to struggle to keep in down to 12. The reality is that all of the items on each of the lists are very rich and have been the subject of many posts, articles and books. We all have somewhat different styles and personalities and therefore have differing agendas and priorities when it comes to everything in life. Taking time to seek out yours, and developing your own list, is a good first step on your path to a better life and better business.

Remember, if you aren’t living your plan, you are part of someone else’s. That’s fine if that’s what you actually want.

Is It though?
